Course The training courses at Belle River Farms are designed according to the standards and guidelines of the national USEA (United States Eventing Association). Three basic training forums are available as outlined below: Our Dressage Arena (pictured below) is a 66’ x 130’ sand area conveniently placed next to all warm-up, show, training and barn areas.
Cross-Country
– All of the fences for this
competition are regulation height for each respective division up to
preliminary levels. Beginner Novice Course -- Designed for riders and mounts new to the sport. The jumps for this level are safe, inviting and educational. Novice Course -- Designed for those who have had schooling and competition in all three disciplines. A safe, inviting course for those who are moving ahead. Training Course -- An elementary exam for competitors and horses with experience and training. The jumps are more sophisticated, yet remain positive and inviting in nature. Stadium Jumping – A beautiful grassy area has been developed for this phase of competition, again conveniently placed for easy access to all areas of the farm. |
Directions Belle River Farms is located at 12443 Masters Road, Memphis, Michigan. Three miles south of I-69, approx. twenty miles southwest of Port Huron; 40 miles east of Flint. Call for details. From Flint: East I-69 to exit 180 Riley Center Road; right (south) three miles to Belle River Rd.; left (south) two blocks to Masters Rd.; left (east) one mile, farm on right. From Port Huron: West I-69 to exit 185 (M-19) Richmond/Sandusky; left (south) approx. four miles to Masters Rd.; right (west) three miles, farm on left. From Chicago: East I-80/94 to I-69 North(east) through Lansing and Flint. Follow remaining directions listed above from Flint.
